I have never met Aruna but when I read her story, I just couldn’t trust the existence of law in my country. I couldn’t trust karma. I couldn’t trust the horrid figures that stay so near us but still so far from justice.

How can aspirations just end with a scolding that one must have given to a junior worker? Probably for Aruna this did happen. She has been lying in the vegetative state since the day she was sodomized by the worker at her hospital.
